Salon editor, HBO writer and New York Times bestselling Baltimore author D. Watkins wrote the book on speaking up, boldly sharing overlooked or forgotten voices.

Freedom of speech may be the most widely known and valued First Amendment right, but lots of college students say they are afraid to share their views. Bring your free speech questions to this town hall and come away feeling empowered to express yourself!

The program, presented by the Freedom Forum and Morgan State University, takes place Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Calvin & Tina Tyler Ballroom in the Morgan State University Student Center. A networking reception will follow at 7 p.m.

Morgan State University is the premier public urban research university in Maryland, known for its excellence in teaching, intensive research, effective public service and community engagement.
