Discover the freedoms Americans enjoy, thanks to the First Amendment. Be the first to experience the world premiere of Yours to Lose, an immersive theatrical performance where you’ll confront what happens when the freedoms of religion, speech, press, assembly and petition are lost.
- Yours to Lose is produced by the Freedom Forum in collaboration with Third Rail Projects and includes cocktails, bites and a free lunch for guests. This limited engagement performance is happening exclusively at SXSW on March 8-10.
- On Friday, March 8 at 6:30 p.m., Texas-based band WhoDo performs its brand of rockabilly and vintage rock and discusses the First Amendment’s role in their work and music.
- On Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m., Austin-based drag queen Brigitte Bandit talks about how she used the First Amendment to challenge limits on drag and how free expression is at the heart of her performances.
