Learn from home with the Freedom Forum

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, the Freedom Forum has postponed or canceled all upcoming in person public events, but we remain focused on educating Americans about their First Amendment rights and the importance of being an informed news consumer.

Journalists are working hard to bring us reliable facts in this time of crisis, but there is also a lot of misinformation out there. We are committed to educating Americans on the ways to decipher quality information, and we have developed six quick and simple activities to help all of us effectively consume news.

As people stay home and do their part to flatten the curve, we know teachers and parents face the challenge of implementing distance learning, so we’ve compiled a list of our FREE resources for students, educators, parents and lifelong learners.

  • Book a live virtual class or program with our experts on topics like fighting fake news, media literacy, religious liberty, free speech and more.
  • Explore our suite of ready-to-use resources.
  • Join a virtual Q&A session with a Freedom Forum specialist on various First Amendment topics found here.

Our vision is an America where everyone knows, understands, values and defends the five freedoms of the First Amendment. Though we carry out our critical work remotely during this challenging time, we remain more dedicated than ever to our mission of fostering First Amendment freedoms for all.

I wish all of you, your families and your colleagues good health.

With best regards,

Jan Neuharth
