A Nashville Christian radio disc jockey was arrested yesterday for possession of child pornography, authorities said.
Chris Ruleman, 40, midday host for 94 FM-The Fish, was taken into custody at his Turning Leaf Place address in southern Davidson County, pending an appearance in federal court.
Ruleman was arrested after authorities determined that he "possessed a variety of pornographic images depicting children which he apparently downloaded off the Internet." The arrest was made by the Violent Crimes Task Force, comprised of the FBI, Metro Nashville Police Department, Franklin Police Department, Lavergne Police Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
"The message should be loud and clear that persons possessing or dealing in child pornography are getting the full attention of law enforcement on the local, state and federal levels," said Chief Ronal Serpas.
