A 44-year-old Nashville woman, accused last year of numerous prostitution and drug violations, was arrested Monday for failing to show up to court, police said.
Anita Louis Groves was held without bail at the Davidson County Correctional Detention Center after she was picked up on warrants by Metro police shortly after midnight.
According to police reports, Groves was arrested last August after officers found her in an abandoned apartment with drug paraphernalia.
In February and June 2004, officers also arrested Groves after they saw her flagging down vehicles in the Herman Street area for the purposes of obtaining money for sex.
Groves, who was arrested Monday near Herman Street and 12th Avenue, is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.
