UNITY 2004 coverage by Diversity Institute reporters
08.05.04
“We are a nation of many nationalities, many races, many religions bound together by a single unity, the unity of freedom and equality.”
President Franklin Delano Roosevelt
More than 7,500 journalists gathered in Washington, D.C., Aug. 4-8 in the name of UNITY.
There were workshops on topical issues, critique sessions and career coaching. There were receptions and celebrations.
Students at the Freedom Forum’s Diversity Institute reported and wrote about the convention. Their work is posted here, so you, too, can be part of UNITY.
