Dear Diversity Institute,

I am really proud of my fellow classmates for their outstanding achievements.

As time goes by, I'm being assigned graphics that are more complex than they were when I started. I have been in training to take over designing the front page of the business section, which I'll be responsible for three or four days each week.

Diane Tinsley, a graduate of the inaugural Diversity Institute class, is a staff artist at The Record in Hackensack, N.J.
