Saleemah Abdul-Ghafur is an author and activist. Her book "Living Islam Out Loud: American Muslim Women Speak" is an anthology of writings from Muslim-American women that focuses on their efforts to integrate their Western lives with their Islamic faith.

Wajahat Ali is a playwright, journalist, attorney, and humorist. His play, "The Domestic Crusaders," is one of the first major plays about the American Muslim experience.

Lena Kahn is an award-winning film maker who documents the Muslim experience in the United States in her film, "A Land Called Paradise."
