The Freedom Forum/Newseum offers internship opportunities throughout the year. The Freedom Forum, based in Washington, D.C., and with offices in Nashville, Tenn., and Vermillion, S.D., is a nonpartisan foundation dedicated to free press, free speech and free spirit for all people. The foundation focuses on three priorities: the Newseum, the First Amendment and newsroom diversity.
The Freedom Forum’s internship program is open to high school, college and graduate level students and offers on-the-job learning opportunities in various departments throughout the organization, including our offices in Tennessee and South Dakota. Applicants should have education and interests in the news media, broadcasting, history, the First Amendment, diversity, marketing, museum studies or event planning. All internships are unpaid.
